We recognise that your privacy is very important and we are committed to protecting the personal information we collect from you. The Privacy Act and the IPP’s govern the way in which we must manage your personal information and this policy sets out how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage personal information about you.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing – mail, or email – to Leishman Associates. Cancellations will not be deemed to be received until you have written confirmation from Leishman Associates. If you have not received acknowledgement within two business days, please contact Leishman Associates on (03) 6234 7844.
Should it be necessary to cancel your registration due to Government imposed travel restrictions, we will provide you with a full refund, minus any bank fees incurred. Evidence may be requested, and each situation scenario will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds for any other reason will adhere to the following cancellation terms:
Registration Fees:
– Cancellations on and before 90 days prior the event will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee.
– Cancellations on or before 60 days prior to the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
– Cancellations on or after 30 days prior to the event will receive no refund.
Your cancellation – if you cannot attend because it is unlawful (eg, covid-19)
If you are unable, or will, with certainty, be unable, to attend this Event for the reason that it is unlawful for you to travel to the venue or would be legally required to submit to quarantine or “lock-down”:
- You must notify us by email and provide particulars of the reason you cannot attend. You may notify us at any time before the commencement of the Event;
- If we accept the reasons given, and:
- there is an on-line/virtual option to attend, and you tell us that you wish to attend by that means, you must pay the registration fee for on-line/virtual attendance. If you have already paid the registration fee in full, we will refund the difference; or
- there is no option to attend by on-line/virtual means, or if you notify us that you do not wish to attend by that means, we will refund all monies actually received from you to the date of your notice.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
The members of the Committee and Leishman Associates do not accept any liability for losses incurred in the event being cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances or any other event that renders performance of the event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable, or impossible.
An unforeseen event shall include but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.
Late Registrations
Registrations for the conference will close one week prior to the starting date to enable appropriate pre-conference preparations. However, late registrations may be accepted onsite. A late fee of $50 AUD will be applied. Delegates who choose to register onsite will be required to pay for all related costs immediately by cash or credit card. Receipts will be sent to the delegate post conference.
The organisers cannot guarantee that collateral, such as satchels, will be available to late registering delegates. A late registration is any registration less than 1 month before the conference start date. In addition, there is a risk that social program functions may be fully subscribed. This policy has been implemented to enable a greater efficiency in the coordination necessary during the lead up to the conference, and to ensure the most enjoyable conference experience possible for everyone involved.
Photography
By registering for this conference, you consent to having your photo taken and used for promotional purposes, this may include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, AMMA Website, Conference Website & Email Marketing. If you do not wish to have your photo taken please advise the conference staff.
Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the conference by the organisers or a person’s inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility is taken by the conference managers for any person not holding insurance.
